Nature of This Resource

This is a private reference site, not an official records office. It does not store government jail or court files. It cannot confirm a person's current custody, order or carry out a release, change an MDOC status, file a court paper, or respond to a Michigan FOIA request on behalf of Gogebic County.

Its pages point toward the Gogebic County Sheriff and Jail, Michigan courts, MDOC and OTIS, parole and probation resources, VINELink, federal and ICE locators, and selected third-party research tools. Michigan public-record access is governed by the law applicable to the record holder, including the Michigan Freedom of Information Act beginning at MCL 15.231 for covered public bodies.
